In painting women, I strive to challenge our perception of a woman at first glance.  We may see a strong, resilient, or beautiful woman, but that is only half of her story. Through my art I recognize that each woman carries a hidden narrative beneath the exterior. This powerful message encourages empathy, reminding us that understanding the full spectrum of a person's life experiences is an essential step toward appreciating the richness of their life.
